⚖️ Expert Verdict

The Bambu Lab P1P and the Creality K1 Max are both high-speed machines, but they serve different scales of ambition. The K1 Max offers a much larger build volume and comes fully enclosed with an AI camera and LIDAR sensor included. The P1P is smaller and open-frame, which limits it to basic materials like PLA unless you build your own enclosure. Creality’s K1 Max is designed to compete with the X1 Carbon, offering professional features at a price point closer to the P1P. However, Bambu Lab’s software and mechanical consistency are still considered a step above Creality’s current offerings. If you need to print large parts or use technical filaments, the K1 Max is the obvious winner due to its sheer size and enclosure. If you prioritize a polished, headache-free user experience and don't need the extra space, the P1P is often more reliable. Ultimately, the K1 Max wins on features, while the P1P wins on ecosystem.

What Owners Are Saying?

Creality K1 Max

Dan
"Massive bed and blistering speed. Proper bit of kit."

Chloe B.
"Had a right faff with the door hinge out of the box—it was catching slightly on the frame. Creality's support took their time but eventually sorted it. Prints are sharp and the large volume is a massive win for the architectural models I’m doing, just be prepared for some minor tinkering."

Harry
"Best ROI for big prints. Sorted."

Bambu Lab P1P

Freddie
"Cheapest way into the Bambu ecosystem. Speed is mind-blowing. Printed a ream of PLA already with zero fails. If you don't need the enclosure, this is the one."

Sienna
"Great ROI. Camera is a bit rubbish though."

Jude B.
"Fast as you like, but I wish the frame was a bit more rigid. It can rattle a bit on the faster accelerations."
