Meanwhile, the Qidi Tech X-Max 3 is a massive, enclosed beast with a heated chamber designed for high-performance plastics like Nylon and Carbon Fiber. The Qidi offers a huge build volume that can accommodate full-sized helmets or mechanical housings that the Anycubic cannot touch. However, the Qidi will always show slight layer lines, whereas the Anycubic produces liquid-smooth surfaces. Using the Anycubic involves a steep learning curve regarding resin safety and post-processing. The Qidi is much more of a 'set it and forget it' machine for large engineering tasks. We recommend the Qidi for professional workshops, but for fine-art studios, the Anycubic is unbeatable.
