⚖️ Expert Verdict
Choosing between the Bambu Lab P1S and the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro is a very close call, as both are enclosed, high-speed CoreXY machines. The Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro stands out with its superior air filtration system and much easier 'quick-swap' nozzle system, making it ideal for schools or small offices. It also features a larger, more intuitive touchscreen compared to the P1S’s basic button-operated LCD screen. However, the Bambu Lab P1S wins on the software and ecosystem side; Bambu Studio and the mobile app are much more polished than Flashforge’s offerings. The P1S also has the massive advantage of being compatible with the AMS for multi-colour printing, which the Adventurer 5M Pro lacks. If you need a printer that focuses on air safety and rapid nozzle changes for different resolutions, the Flashforge is an excellent choice. But for most enthusiasts, the multi-colour potential and the superior slicer software of the P1S make it the more attractive long-term package. The P1S remains our top recommendation for the average hobbyist workshop.
